Resumen/Summary
Ingeniera física de la Universidad del Cauca (Colombia), Magíster en Instrumentación en Física, Doctora en Ciencias Físicas de la Universidad de Valladolid (España) con categoría "Investigador Senior" (desde 2021 hasta la fecha), acorde al Ministerio de Ciencias en Colombia. Realizó dos estancias postdoctorales en óptica atmosférica: CEFOP-UdeC (Chile) y en IPEN-UFRN (Brasil). Ha trabajado como docente-investigadora en la Universidad de Concepción (Chile) y ha participado en proyectos colaborativos en el Observatorio Atmosférico Alomar (Noruega), la Universidad de Beira Interior (Portugal) y la RED LIdar Latinoamericana (LALINET). Su carrera en investigación ha estado dedicada al estudio de los aerosoles atmosféricos mediante instrumentación óptica, especialmente mediante técnicas Lidar.
Physicist Engineer from the University of Cauca (Colombia), M.Sc. Physics Instrumentation, and Ph.D. Physical Sciences by University of Valladolid, Spain. Also, with the "Senior Researcher" category (since 2021) according to the Ministry of Science in Colombia. She was in two postdoctoral research positions devoted to atmospheric optics in the CEFOP-UdeC (Chile) and the IPEN-UFRN (Brazil). She had worked as a teacher-researcher at the University of Conception (Chile), and she had participated in collaborative projects at the Alomar Atmospheric Observatory (Norway), the University of Beira Interior (Portugal), and the Latin American Lidar NETwork (LALINET). Her research career has been dedicated to studying atmospheric aerosols using optical instrumentation, especially by Lidar techniques.
