Juan Manuel is full time Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at EAFIT University. He received a B.Sc in Mechanical Enginering at Los Andes University; and M.Sc. in Engineering at Los Andes University and a Ph.D in Computational Mechanics at Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. His current research interest includes computational solid mechanics, computational contact mechanics and particle based methods.
